It's Sunday. . .

I seem to have a thing for Little Beanie Red at the moment. I just keep sketching her and Mr Wolf, who doesn't look all that scary. I might have a go at changing the storyline...what do you think?

That's my "Fun and Nonsense" ....Catherine x

Little Beanie Red. . .

It's Monday evening and I'm dog tired, it feels like Friday...nine 5year olds will do that to you. Suck the energy right out before your very eyes. Little darlings (I say through gritted teeth).
Tomorrow is another battle field...yay!

Just a little something I sketched last week, whilst on my dinner break. Little Beanie Red isn't taking any of Little Bear Blue's nonsense...

Hope there's some Fun and Nonsense in you neck of the woods... Catherine x

Keeping it loose. . .

Hello everyone. Here are a couple of sketches I did last night while the football was on.  Mr Hollywood has been complaining that I spend too much time in my art bunker.  So now in the evening while we watch tv, I lay my art supplies on the coffee table and doodle. Last night I kept my lines very loose, just doodled some forms and am very happy with the results.

I love to doodle, it's just "Fun and Nonsense"...Catherine xx

Summer is over. . .

A page from my holiday journal - We drank a little, giggled a lot and talked non-stop!

Good Morning everyone, I'm back!  Summer is over, my morning starts at 6am again. Gone are my lazy lie ins till 8am, lunch with Gino and Mel (UK cooking show) and late nights.
I started back at school on Monday helping the two teachers to prepare the classrooms etc for the return of all the children yesterday.  I have 9 fresh new 5year old minds to mold and play with....and wip into shape.  Oh yes "work in progress"... One or two haven't quite understood that the adults are in charge at our school...oh well, they'll learn  :D fun fun fun....
We are a teeny tiny primary school of 45 students this year and four adults (two teachers, the dinner lady and me, the classroom assistant).  All our children were happy to be back and there was lots of kissing and hugging (it's France, we do that - well at our school anyway). It's one big happy family. Two of our four children that started at senior school yesterday popped by at the end of the day to tell us how they like their new school... as I said, one big happy family!

Hope there's some "Fun and Nonsense" where ever you are...Catherine xx
