This pooch needs a name...

Hope you are all fit and well and ready for the New Year challenges....

I haven't blogged in a few days. Well, I decided I needed a rest from drawing, darlings :-j.... actually family commitments, I had no time and it took me a long time to recover from our New Year celebrations... I just can't hack the pace...I'm not 16 any more...Thank goodness. But it would be nice to burn the candle at both ends once in a while and not spend days recuperating... what's worse I didn't even drink...so I couldn't even blame a hangover... that's just sad and downright OLD....

Anyhow, once my body, head and eyes stopped hurting and I started to resemble a human being again, instead of looking and feeling like something the dog had chucked up...this is what popped onto my page... and well this little pooch needs a name...and a colour.... Any ideas?

So glad you're feeling better (I can relate!). I don't know what you should call your little dog, but she sure looks cute and happy! nancy

Hope you are healed!

He seems very fluffy! Could he be one of those chi-chi dyed dogs? Purple? Very cute without colour though!

He's a cutie and looks like the dog over the road from our place. We found him sitting in the road with one paw up hopefully and the exact expression you have drawn. (He had escaped through the back door. We put him back in). His name is Slipper - perhaps you could borrow it!

This reminds me of Snowy from Tin Tin. Not good at naming things though :-P

As for color, I imagine it has beautiful golden brown with a touch of faint orange :-)

I'm still working on my sketchbook. Almost there...almost there ^-^

I would SOOO color him something silly like cotton candy pink and then give him a name like Sebastian Boneapole III, and make him very touchy about his coat...you know, the kind of touchy where people tell one another in stage whispers "don't mention the pink!"

LOL
Happy new year!

Oh, cute! I really like Cowgirl's suggestion of Remnant. I was going to say Dwayne if it's a boy and well, I have no girl name, but I really like Remnant.

Really cute - yes a warm gold would be a great color.
