Short and Tall . . .

Mr Toast's "Short and Tall"... I had no idea what I was going to come up with until last night here.. afternoon US time there... As some of you know Baby Girl is State Side... Galveston to be exact... by the sea... we Skyped so  I got to see the view from her hotel.... beautiful beach....

Here in France... Baby Girl is very tall compared to most of her friends and me (I'm 5"2 if I stretch tall)... Baby Girl is 5"9... she says in the US, everyone she has seen so far makes her feel really short... a new experience in her life..... so that makes me Pepper Pot size... a bit like the Granny in Clint Eastwood's film "Every which way but loose"....   Baby Girl and her Dad are driving out to not sure where today...

I'm hoping over to Mr Toast's to see what all of you have come up with.... that is, in between being glued to the telly on the latest Royal Update.... can't wait till Friday... it's so exciting.....

Oh my I must move to the states!!! I'm about 5.9" too and in Latvia while there are a couple of tall folk they are rare - most folks tend to be Russian size (below 5.5) and I guess that is close to French size - I figure it has do something with heat retention etc :)
Fun drawing you did :)

Yes we may be a little taller here in the states, but we are equally a little wider too. Did your Baby Girl mention that? And she is in Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas. Xoxo. Terah

Cute drawing. While I am 5' 6" my baby girl is barely 5 foot so she is pocket size too. :-)

What a cute and clever way to illustrate short and tall.

I'm the runt in my family, with all my daughters taller than me.

It's scary when your little babes grow up and look down on you isn't it! Physically and metaphorically! I love your idea :)

When did Didster get so tall! Stinkweed, is so tall now he can tap me on the top of my head and I could probably go kayaking in his shoes and he's only 14! How come our babies are so much bigger than us, is what I want to know... Love this drawing by the way xxx

What a great trio to illustrate short and tall. I love the detail...like the USA shirt. I, too, am glued to the tv watching all the pre-wedding hoopla.
