Courage. . .

Courage doesn't always roar, sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says... "I'll try again tomorrow"...
This was a small journal that I made for my friend B over at Sweetlimes...and you can see the fantastic hand carved stamp she made me.  I'd like to share this with Sunday Sketches...

Hi Constance, this is my first time to visit your blog and I think it is charming! I read your profile and how wonderful that you teach art to kids. That can be tiring but children teach us to be freer and more daring in our art journey, don't they? And you live in France! How exciting! I think your journal is sweet, although a little melancholy. I like the idea of the ribbon and the half girl! Lovely! Patsy from

That's beautiful. I'm making a journal from some advertising material that came through the post. It folds up interestingly and was on some quite stiff paper so I thought it might be fun to try. Now I've seen what you've done, I am extra inspired! I love how the story unfolds...

I'm trying to decide what to put in this beauty now that I have her, I have to find the perfect thing so I don't ruin the sweet book. I just love it, thanks again Catherine. *hugs*

I like the way the card opens which gives you the feeling of the anticipation before taking the courageous step. Very creative and flowing.

Oh ... how I love this! The design and drawing are beautiful. The message inside is something to keep on hand for those cloudy days.

I put the wrong link for my sunday sketch.
Here's the correct link:

Dear Catherine,

There is such beauty and sweetness in your drawings. Little wings, big eyes and full hearts! I just love them.

Courage is one of my favorites, so far. I haven't decided yet, why. There is just something about her eyes that draws me in and makes me want to give her a ((hug)).

So glad I found you!
