Draw the line. . .

Last week I had the kids at school drawing portraits using only one line...they loved it and after the holidays they will be tackling objects. I came across Nora MacPhail via Sunday Sketches and well her one line drawings are fabulous...take a look (actually all her artwork is wonderful).  I was so inspired I doodled away... my girlies started life as top models in a fashion magazine and then I turned them into the girls next door that you could have a cup of tea with or better still a glass of wine and a good natter... Just a little fun and nonsense on a Tuesday afternoon xx

Love your girlies, Catherine. LOVE the blue dress and pumps, too. I could see myself wearing that smashing outfit while out having tea and scones. :D Hee

One line drawings are very cool. I want to try something like that with my quilting. I might borrow this idea. I like your new designs. Terah

I just post your mail this morning ( about 30 mins ago). I will email you my address now. I got temperamental internet (wireless) service, so it may take a while for it to reach you ( an hour or so). hugs
