Sunday Sketches . . .

This little fairy is all I have managed to produce in the last three weeks......I have spent my time cleaning and painting Mr H's house that he rents out....that took two weeks.....and this last week we took the roof off the barns of my old farm house......

This is a typical Charentais farm house..... my house is all shut up and waiting to be renovated....

Most of the roof is rotten so I was having lots of kittens.....Mr H sent the tiles down the shut where I grabbed them and put them in the wheel barrow for a massive planter or popped them up against the wall....
No need to go to the gym....after handling about 4tons of 100 or so year old tiles I have alot more upper arm strength then I've had ever....

My planter is about 3 and half meters in diameter....85 tiles round and about 20 high.....alot of tiles...
Whilst we were doing this work...there was a mega amount of traffic with people driving past very slow to have a good look at what we were upto.......the house sits on a road that goes nowhere....the only traffic is the odd tracker once a week etc....
Am off now to take that big ugly metal door off....no rest..... Fingers crossed I will get time to come visit you all at Sophia's Sunday Sketches......

Your fairy is so cute. Sounds like you've been quite the busy lady lately. Don't forget to take some time out to relax and recoup. :)

What a cute sketch :)
I am amazed! Are you and Mr H going to redo the barn/house yourselves? The planter looks amazing!
The sheep have decided that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence and a couple brave ones are skipping and hoping through the electrical fence. So off today to buy more wire to expand their area. You know they do make amazing lawnmowers :)
