A page from my holiday journal - We drank a little, giggled a lot and talked non-stop!
Good Morning everyone, I'm back! Summer is over, my morning starts at 6am again. Gone are my lazy lie ins till 8am, lunch with Gino and Mel (UK cooking show) and late nights.
I started back at school on Monday helping the two teachers to prepare the classrooms etc for the return of all the children yesterday. I have 9 fresh new 5year old minds to mold and play with....and wip into shape. Oh yes "work in progress"... One or two haven't quite understood that the adults are in charge at our school...oh well, they'll learn :D fun fun fun....
We are a teeny tiny primary school of 45 students this year and four adults (two teachers, the dinner lady and me, the classroom assistant). All our children were happy to be back and there was lots of kissing and hugging (it's France, we do that - well at our school anyway). It's one big happy family. Two of our four children that started at senior school yesterday popped by at the end of the day to tell us how they like their new school... as I said, one big happy family!
Hope there's some "Fun and Nonsense" where ever you are...Catherine xx

Your holiday journal is great ~ you make such lovely people! Any more art hiding in there?
Your school sounds very charming, you should do a drawing of your classroom with all the little happy faces looking at you. :) Best Wishes for a wonderful new school year!
In our small town the teachers hug and kiss my kids too and I love that they do.
Sorry to hear your brilliant summer is over, you've sure had a full plate haven't you? I think it's great you did a vacay journal, the two girls on this page (are they your friends?) are so adorable.
I am back from my break and so lovely to be able to catch up again. I hope you are well my friend and are not working to hard!
