For Sale. . . or . . . not for sale . . . ?

Just need to be sad...
Firstly, I'm not even a little bit sad.... this poor little girl just popped onto my page Thursday morning, no reflection on how I'm feeling at all... I finished her off today... All the time she's saying "sell me, sell me"...
So my question dear friendly bloggers... "Do I sell her or not?" and "how much?" and "would you buy her?"..
She's on good quality paper A5 size. I've used Indian Ink and watercolouring pencils and crayons...and all .. (She obviously needs redoing... as the words are falling off the page)...
Oh so cold...
This little lady is how I felt in Leeds, "Very very cold"... I sketched her while I was on the plane coming home.  I'm thinking of turning her into a greeting card (Christmas time would be more appropriate)... your thoughts and advise would be greatly appreciated... "Are my little creations good enough to sell?"

Pop over to Sophia at  Sunday Sketches... hope your all having a good weekend and I shall be popping by to see you all....

Definitely great sketches for cards. I think the first one could be adjusted to be a "sorry about your loss" type of card. The second is a perfect winter is here card!

Yes, these would make great cards. I agree the top one would be a nice sympathy card or cheer up card,
also, love the outfit on the winter lady! Very cool boots!

I think these would make great cards, do you have an etsy shop? It's good to list things there as it's no pressure and only 20c for 4 months

Yes, your sketches are good enough to sell. I love them. As soon as I opened your blog I thought Oh, these are great. I want to be able to create something like this.

I agree with everyone else - these will make great cards! (I definitely feel the cold in the bottom one... I wish I wasn't so familiar. ha!)

Lovely sketches, they are definitely sellable as cards or pictures for the buyer to do as they wish with. As far as price search Etsy or Ebay and see what others are pricing things for similar artwork, you can search cards at etsy to see whats working.

I love them both and think that either of them could work as a card and both are worthy of being sold. As for how much, I would have no idea as I've never sold any of my artwork. lol.

If she is calling to be sold you should put her up!

I've never sold anything so I can't help with your answers but I think it is sure worth trying!

Great sketches! Very elegant lady!

These would make wonderful greetings cards & postcards to sell. I really like the way you draw hair styles - the girl at the top's plait/braid is really cool.

I would try and sell them and see what people think. I didn't think anyone would buy my artwork but they slowly have been. Kind of gives me a little boost of confidence during this artists block time for me. Your second girl is so fashionable and lovely. She really does make me feel cold though.

Yes you should sell it. Prints usally go at 20 to 22. And you can make your drawing into prints also. Yes Yes Yes.
Both these drawings are adorable.

I like them both and think the girl in the top one could go well on a sorry for your loss type card. I love the second one. She is lovely and wintery :)

I definitely think they are good enough to sell. I don't sell anything, so I don't have advice there- but etsy might be a good starting point. I love the colors you have used in the first one :)

Fantastic sketches. My advice is if the sketch is asking to be sold, then listen.

if you have time and interest, I would be honored if you would consider joining a community art project I'm trying to get off the ground:

I could extend the due date some also.

The would make great greeting cards... the first would make a great "thinking of you when you are feeling blue" and yes, the second would make a great holiday card. Perfect starting place I think.
